How to Sniff Your Network in 3D
There are two pieces of software: the open source sniffer feed and the free 3D console.
1. You'll need Java version 8 or higher if you don't already have it.
2. On windows, windump must be installed and in the path. (how?)
3. Download and run the sniffer and click "sniff all". On linux and
mac, you need to run with "sudo javaws sniffer.jnlp". (how?)
4. Download and run the console. (how?)

Set Up a "Flight Data Recorder" For Your Network
The sniffer can be configured to continuously record network activity for playback
when you need to investigate what happened during a particular time period.
Once the sniffer is running in "collect" mode, download and run the Collector Feed
to retrieve any time period and send it into the Console.
